Market Director - Fintech and Financial Services Industry London, UK

This commission-only position will work with the Fintech, and Financial Services Industries in London and the surrounding area.  To be successful in this role, you will need deep existing connections with decision-makers in the industries.

What you'll do

Daily you will leverage your relationships within the Fintech and Financial Services community to identify and close business opportunities that leverage the full spectrum of Van Natter Consulting Group's services.

You will accomplish this by researching and analyzing your market for consulting opportunities and supporting your potential client through their decision-making process.  First, you will uncover and respond to potential clients' questions and requests for proposals.  Next, you will conduct a client needs assessment so that the team may generate appropriate solutions.  Finally, you will create and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, secure agreements to contracts, and maintain long-term relationships with our clients.

About you

  • Existing connections in the Fintech and Financial Services Industries in New York and the Tri-State Area.
  • You will have an entrepreneur mindset and be passionate about sales productivity and sales management and be excited to create new markets with us.  Additionally, you should be a top-performing sales professional with experience selling services to the tech and financial services industries.
  • To succeed in this role, you need strong relationship-building skills and an interest in helping startups or existing businesses increase their revenue.
  • We also expect you to be an extraordinary communicator with great attention to detail. 

We're also looking for the following:

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development selling consulting services, corporate training, and related offerings strongly preferred;
  • Demonstrated strength as a relationship builder with a proven record of converting new relationships into lasting clients;
  • Ability to travel when appropriate to meet prospects and clients face-to-face;
  • Work successfully either independently or as an active member of a team;
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple projects at once;
  • Strong analytical and time-management skills;
  • Results-driven, self-motivated mindset;
  • Unwavering integrity, conviction, and objective judgment;
